Duties

  • Ensure system health by performing regular backups, managing firmware, and mitigating lifecycle risks to keep systems running smoothly;
  • Handle critical troubleshooting and system recovery in-house, reducing dependency on external vendors;
  • Extensive experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software on GE PLC, Citect SCADA, and various Smart Protection Relays and Controllers;
  • Expertise in Modbus and OPC protocols to integrate third-party systems with PLC;
  • Proficient in managing computer networks, switches, firewalls, and enforcing security policies in line with company standards;
  • Perform timely and documented maintenance for control systems and field instrumentation;
  • Provide essential support to operations, maintenance, and project teams, including emergency call-outs outside of working hours;
  • Responsible for system administration tasks such as backups, system cleaning, maintaining system history, and ensuring security policies are adhered to;
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to develop the existing electrical and instrumentation team.
  • Improve operational resilience in line with the growing complexity and scale of the company’s operations;
  • Contribute to upcoming expansion projects and plans;
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree, in Physics or Electrical Engineering;
  2. More than 7 years of experience managing multiple projects or cases in system development and solving major maintenance issues;
  3. Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop the existing team.
  4. Experience in managing and securing systems, including computer networks and firewalls;
  5. Knowledge in System and Network Security;
  6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules;
  7. Self-Sufficiency with the ability to work long hours and minimal supervision;
  8. Ability to Handle Emergency Call-Outs outside of normal working hours when required;
  9. Awareness of company safety and environmental standards.
