North Sulawesi Head of the Provincial Police Irjen Pol Mulyatno Mulyatno accompanied by Minut Head of County Police AKBP Bambang Yudi Wibowo, Regional Secretary Rivino Dondokambey and Juanda who was representing the President Director of PT Meares Soputan Mining (PT MSM) and PT Tambang Tondano Nusajaya (PT TTN), symbolically handed over mangrove seedlings to some representatives for planting 10,000 mangroves in Maen Village, East Likupang District, Tamba Beach, on Thursday (23/6/22).

The declaration of planting mangrove seedlings was conducted to welcome the 76th Anniversary of Bhayangkara as well as World Environment Day which was held by the North Sulawesi Regional Police and PT MSM and PT TTN.

Head of the Provincial Police North Sulawesi said that the existences of mangroves are very important for survival of marine life, it can prevent abrasion, and even other disasters caused by sea.

The same thing was said by Juanda that hopes the planting of 10,000 mangroves can give positive impacts on sustainability of other ecosystems, including ourselves.
