Duties

  • Work under the coordination of the Process Operations Training Coordinator to ensure the effective delivery of training programs;
  • Prepare course materials, tools, and equipment necessary for both classroom and field training sessions;
  • Deliver training modules and courses, and assess participants’ progress based on established learning objectives;
  • Supervise on-the-job training (OJT) in alignment with company standards and approved training methodologies;
  • Provide support during the commissioning of process plants, particularly during plant upgrades or modifications;
  • Conduct training for process operators on new systems, plant operations, and procedural methodologies;
  • Identify and develop new work procedures to ensure the seamless integration of new facilities with existing operations;
  • Conduct skills assessments and training needs analyses in alignment with operational goals;
  • Develop and revise training documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for process operators;
  • Utilize the INX system to log, track, evaluate, and report training activities for non-staff employees;
  • Maintain comprehensive training records, including participant evaluations, assessments, attendance, and certification documentation;
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper security of all training records and materials;
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors and suppliers to deliver competency-based training relevant to operational requirements;
  • Adhere to government and company Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and requirements;
  • Any other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  1. Minimum a Diploma graduate in Vocational Education and Training, Metallurgy, or Mineral Processing Technology;
  2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Gold and Silver operations within the mining or processing industry, including prior experience in training and assessment roles and at least 2 years of experience as a trainer in Gold and Silver processing operations;
  3. Certified in Training and Assessing (Training of Trainers / TOT);
  4. Skilled in designing, developing, and delivering training programs relevant to process operations;
  5. Competent in conducting skills assessments and evaluations to ensure workforce capability and compliance;
  6. Experienced in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with industry best practices;
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective delivery of training content;
  8. POP Certificate is highly valued and considered an advantage;
  9. Familiar with the INX system or other training management platforms for tracking and reporting;
  10. Proactive, detail-oriented, and result-driven in handling training responsibilities;
  11. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to operational and instructional challenges;
  12. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with good interpersonal collaboration;
  13. Demonstrates awareness of corporate safety and environmental standards.
