Duties
Ensure appropriate action is taken to remove/manage hazards/risks identified in all work area;
Set high contribution standards at daily toolbox meetings, daily and monthly safety meetings within the work group;
Implement Procedures, Work Instructions & Job Safety & Environmental Analysis (JSEA)
Lead the progress of planting, maintenance, and nursery projects, while also supporting government initiatives in the rehabilitation of
watershed (DAS) areas
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual performance reports on the progress of rehabilitation DAS project
Execute comprehensive planting and maintenance programs, including the management of nurseries, within the framework of the watershed
rehabilitation (DAS) project
Conduct GIS mapping to track the progress of planting and maintenance activities, including geotagging specific planting locations, as part of
the watershed rehabilitation (DAS) project
Compile field data into monthly, annual, and other relevant reports, including the Watershed
Rehabilitation (DAS) Report
Any other assignments may be assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor degree Agriculture/Forestry, Environmental from University;
Minimum 3 years experience as Rehibilitation DAS Specialist or minimum 5 years as Reclamation Supervisor;
Intermediate level of English, both spoken and written;
Proficient in Ms Office (Word, Excel, Power point) & mapping software (GIS);
POP certified is an advantage;
Having Driving Licence (SIM A) is an advantage.
Able to demonstrate awareness of company safety and environment.
