Duties
Coordinate monthly safety meetings as required;
Ensure that all company and departmental safety procedures and standards are adhered to during the execution of work, in particular isolation and tag-out procedures, safe work permits, hot work permits and JSEAs;
Ensure accident and incident investigations are conducted to a high standard;
Ensure that all required safety training is completed for all employees in the section and that any additional safety training requirements are identified and acted upon;
Ensure all High Voltage equipment is in good working order to prevent interruption of electricity supply;
Schedule and perform periodic maintenance on all HV electrical equipment, components and installations;
Work closely with PLN representatives to maintain the quality of electricity supplied in accordance with our specifications and with minimal disruption;
Any other assignments may be assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from University;
Minimum 5 years’ experience in HV switchyard, overhead and plant maintenance;
Possess a valid HV work license/certificate;
Proficient in Microsoft Office, ABB PM600, GE Multilin, ETAP, SAP;
Good communication skills, fluent in English – both spoken and written;
Possess Driving License (SIM A) will be an advantage;
Able to demonstrate awareness of company safety and environment.
