Duties

  • Provide motivation and leadership to employees and contractors to promote a professional, vigorous and safe working environment, whilst ensuring adherence to the Company’s HSE and all regulatory and industrial standard working practices and to maintain order and housekeeping at the highest level;
  • Set a high standard of personal HSE performance as well as contributing to a high standard of HSE within the project section;
  • Responsible for setting a high standard of contribution through PASS daily meetings, Workshop Toolbox weekly and monthly meetings;
  • Plan, organize and oversee multiple underground construction projects;
  • Provide the team with day to day direction in work quality, implementation of health and safety codes and ensure completion of work within the planned schedule;
  • Produce daily updates to management regarding project completion and assist with the development of contracts liaise with subcontractors and vendors and perform other administrative tasks;
  • Perform site inspections for quality control of in-house and contract labour including oversee the quality of working equipment;
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance productivity and efficiency including assist with the recruitment of all positions within the area of responsibility if needed;
  • Manage inventory requirements for construction projects;
  • Adhere to industry specific, local and state labour regulations as applicable;
  • Perform other duties as requested by superior.

Requirements

  • Graduated from University majoring in Mining Engineer;
  • Has minimum 5 years as Superintendent in Underground Mining, extensive experience and knowledge of underground installation practices;
  • Able to bring the best global practice underground mechanized mining experience and proven ability to deliver and lead complex and challenging projects and mining operations;
  • Experience with underground project design and equipment as well as understanding safety;
  • Project planning and budgeting skills;
  • Able to read and understand underground utility maps and prints;
  • Excellent in English both speaking & writing;
  • Advance computer skills and fluent in all the main Microsoft Office and also familiar with SAP system is preferred;
  • POM certified;
  • Has Indonesian drivers license (SIM A);
  • Able to demonstrate the awareness of corporate safety & environmental.
