Duties

  • Work together with plant metallurgist, metallurgy consultant, or vendor and lab crew to focus in the plant improvement/expansion of the Toka Tindung project with Responsiblity to conduct metallurgical test programs or plant trial for current and future projects, including: project planning, analysis data and reporting;
  • Assist senior project Metallurgist to perform project study, development and plant capacity expansion, provide process design criteria to engineering stage, preparing basic engineering design data, PFD, operation philosophy, P&ID and control philosophy, and plant commissioning;
  • Ensuring compliance with the International Cyanide Management Code;
  • Providing technical support for plant process operations and working effectively both independently and in teams consisting of diverse ethnicities and nationalities;
  • Conducting investigations on every occasion to improve process performance, supported by accurate and relevant testwork data;
  • Executing and coordinating metallurgical testwork programs related to the Tokatindung project and other MSM/TTN projects;
  • Supporting the Assay Laboratory by ensuring timely and procedure-compliant delivery of metallurgical samples;
  • Ensuring that testwork related to process optimization projects is carried out according to procedures and schedules;
  • Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of metallurgical testwork reports to relevant parties;
  • Ensuring that process optimization projects progress according to schedule by communicating with relevant stakeholders;
  • Ensuring the correct delivery of Metallurgical Accounting data to relevant parties;
  • Any other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduated with a major in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Gold Processing Plant;
  • Experience in process engineering and project management is preferred;
  • Excellent in analysis & problem solving skill;
  • Proficient in Ms. Office (Excel & Word);
  • Experience in Office BVA, Ms. Access or similar application is an advantage;
  • Good communication skill in Bahasa Indonesia & English – either written & speaking;
  • Metallurgy Competency certified is preferred;
  • Possess valid Driver’s license (SIM A);
  • Able to demonstrate the awareness of corporate safety & environmental.
