Duties

Overseeing and leading the company’s legal department;
Provide & developing proactive legal strategy & advice to the business by conducting diligent research;
Analyzing risks and providing legal advice to management and other departments within the company;
Drafting and reviewing contracts, legal documents, and company policies;
Participate in the negotiation process with potential partners and/or vendor, as appropriate;
Managing relationship with legal consultants and regulatory authorities;
Identifying, mitigating legal risk on litigation and land matter. Also solving legal cases through amicable procedures or litigation procedures as required;
Any other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor degree of Law or a relevant degree in the legal field;
Minimum 15 years’ experience in the legal or compliance field, with at least 5 years of experience as manager or head of department. Experiences in similar industry is preferable;
Advocate licensed;
Excellent understanding of relevant laws and regulations in the industry and region of the company;
Good communication skill in Bahasa & English – either written & speaking, including the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively;
Good in analytical skills, organize, detail, able to solve problems and make decisions quickly and accurately;
Excellent in leadership;
Willing to work on mining site as required/necessary.
